Welcome to Tom’s Tutoring, the website of Tom Startup, a private tutor and teacher of economics, maths, politics and philosophy, based in Great Kingshill, near High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
I teach nearly all current GCSE and A-Level Courses in these subjects and also some degree level topics. Please see here for more details. I also provide mentoring and coaching for applications to Oxford and Cambridge.
Increasingly students want the best tutor they can find, regardless of the area they live in. This is why I also offer online lessons using Skype and an online whiteboard. Over the years I have taught students from all over the UK and even from China in this way!
